This revox has been haunting me since I first heard it a few weeks ago. The fact that Mr. Munroe had to build this piece together with Kanye’s instrumental underneath is very, VERY impressive. Not to mention the subtle change in the chord progression of the new altered chorus.

This was one of the first songs I had ever recorded! Before I had enough money to purchase a condenser mic, I just sang into the built-in microphone on my laptop. 2007 was a pretty rough year in my life, and just listening to this song really helps me keep on when I get bogged down. Though a lot of you may not know this song, it is easily one of my favorite covers I’ve ever recorded. Daphne Loves Derby will always be a huge inspiration to me.
